Name of company/service: Fraudulent Birla Sunlife Insurance Policy
Dear Sir/ Madam,
Birla Sunlife Insurance Pvt. Ltd. forged my documents, fraudulently issued an insurance policy under my name and also charged the premium of Rs. 24,576 (which now stands at more than Rs.35,000 due to bank late charges etc.) on my credit card without my approval.
For clarification, I would like to inform you that I never took or ever had applied for any kind of insurance policy from Birla Sunlife in my entire life. On September 01, 2010 I received an SMS showing a payment charged onto my credit card for a Rs. 24,576. At first I thought it was a mistake by which ICICI bank has charged it on my credit card and since then I had been fighting with them over the mentioned payment.
However to my surprise when they did not remove the said payment from my statement after several request and in turn presented me with a duplicate copy of an ongoing insurance policy of BirlaSunlife under my own complete name and with completely WRONG address where I had never lived.
As on today my outstanding on my credit card is more than Rs.35,000 and my entire credit history has been spoiled. I have been getting regular mails and threatening calls by ICICI Collections to pay the due amount.
I want to file case against BIRLASUNLIFE for forging my documents and charging the premium on my credit card also against ICICI BANK who has allowed this charge without my permission.
I would like to file the case against both the organisations for mental harassment that I am still in’ which has continued since last 1.5 years now, for spoiling my entire credit history, for wasting my so much time in just to find out who’s mistake it was. Also for the compensation for the monetary loss I had due to the same for the entire period of this debacle and last but certainly not the least an apology letter from Birla Sunlife Pvt. Ltd. & ICICI Bank with an acceptance of their mistake.
I seek your kind help to resolve this matter at the earliest pls.
