Fraudulent Airline Ticketing

I tried to buy an air ticket Bombay Amsterdam Bombay on the site of Easy go trip.com on 5th July 2012 and Rs 49458 was deducted on my debit card but no ticket came my way.Ever since then I am trying to get my refund through SBI my bankers but I have failed to get my refund.The Vendor though approachable via telephone is making false promises which is being denied by the bank as they are in constant dialogue with the merchant.It is my earnest desire that you being the correct forum need to severely reprimand the vendor as this fraud has been done with an intent to do so cause when the ticket did not come my way and on checking with him I was told that the fare had increased the reason being very difficult to digest cause if the fare had gone up then the transaction should not have happened.Would appreciate honestly if such dubious sites are taken to task and their functioning closed permanently.

    Same happened with me. I also tried to book a roundtrip but booking was not done and amount deducted. The customer care people told that booking could not be done as you had chosen different airlines during roundtrip booking. But i wondered when it was not allowed then why the amount was deducted. Still i waited long for my refund. But till date there is no refund. I think so my money is gone. I posted my story on their page on facebook. But they blocked me and deleted my post.
    I have seen that there are many online complains. I think there is some big scam running in the name of easygotrip.

    I am a victim of this fraud Easygotrip.com website. I booked a ticketa on 20th August from Kolkata to Pune. Every site was showing the fare around 8k, only they were showing 4733.00. I thought they might be giving some special discounts. I bought the ticket, the airlines was Jet Airways. I got a ticket in my mailbox where the status was showing ” Rejected due to some problem”. Jet airways denied of any such ticket bought at their airlines. I called up customer care of easygotrip, they told me that due to the increase of fare, ticket was not confirmed. I lodged a complain, my complain number was A887. they told me that I will get back my money within 9 days. Its 13 days now. After 9 days, i called up several times to their customer care, they have blocked me, stating , ” all our customer care executives are busy right now. we will get back to u shortly”..but no correspondance from their side till date. I have sent so many mails to their all available mail ID’s. no response. I think I will never get my money back. But I will not let them go so easily. They should be punished severely. I am going to lodge police complain against them at Cyber crime cell. And also a complain against them at DGCA. I am frequent traveller. no other site has cheated like this before.

    yesterday I got my money refunded by easygotrip website finally without much delay and further harassment. I think im lucky enough.

    Same thing happened with me .. i tried booking ticket on 16th august and they made same excuse that fare was revised so my booking got rejected.
    How the hell they can deduct the amount and could not give ticket .. they are making fool out of everyone.
    Since then its been a month i have been calling there customer care number. all the time 24/7 there operators are busy. How’s that possible.
    I really request to give me some ideas how i can getr my money back from these fraudsters.

    i had booked tickes form easygotrip as on 9.12.2014 for kolkata to delhi of amount 8732. ans same day i got the mail from the easygotrip as ticket got cancelled due to change in fair charges.so i callled the customer care and asked for the refund they told me that u will get refund withing 9 days.evne till now i didn’t get the refund.and i had tried no of time to call theit customer care but thet didn,t answer and if they were pickup the phone than told u will ge tur refund withing few days..and but i realise they are making foolish to customer as i read so many complaints regarding this site.please update ur mobino and letr try to stop this nonsennce pepole business.lets do the right things.

    all of you contact http://www.gogoaholidays.com its a part of easygotrip. Mr.John Fernandes is owner of this company he was begging in street of Goa. Now he made big money by cheating people

    I have not received my refund from Easygotrip with details as under.
    Total Amont transferred is Rs 7887/-
    Price for the ticket charged by you against Booking Ref : ET 63725 7 Airline PNR IFAZPR is Rs 2255.
    Balance to be refunded is Rs 5632, I have received credit for Rs 1400 on 20th of July’15 . Balance of Rs 4232 is pending since the 15th of July 2015.

    There is no response either on Mail /phone on the subject. The so called Helpline is an excellent tool used in swindling people.
