I was made to purchase a preventive health care package from IHO by their negligent, baseless and incorrect details and promises.
I bought the policies for my parents who stay in my home town which is far from any metros. Its a district head quarters and not a remote village either. I asked the marking executive explicitly that they have to use these cards only in that place and not in any metros and so if these IHO cards are valid in hospitals there. He said that these can be used in any town/districts and metros as IHO is a central government recognized organization.
I paid Rs.7500 and registered for the cards. Tactically they dont give much time for you to check in detail about IHO and its facilities.Unfortunately, its the same in my case too. After paying the money. I tried to dig more about IHO online as well as in my home town. And I came to know what they told is totally wrong. No hospital or doctor in my district is aware of IHO or can these cards are valid.
I raised query for cancellation of these cards. Ironically 2 days after registering giving the reasons as above. The customer service person called back one day stating that I didnt say that these cards are for my parents and that I told that I want to use them in my home town and giving a free advise that they can travel to the nearest metro and use the cards instead of cancelling.
When I asked for call recording she told that she can send it. Soon after, after few hours after, another person called apolozing that I have informed this information., But it has been more than 15 days now, I didnt get any refund from the company. when ever I mail to the concerned person, I just get a delayed response saying that its in progress.
Now, I am left with no cards and no refund. Just waiting for my Rs,7500.
Kindly do the needful and Beware of IHO.
