I needed a personal loan of about 1 lakh I contacted Shakthi finance company located in Kolkata who had advertised in the Times of India, they have a web site, shakthifinance..co.in. The address on their web site is

I have paid them upto 38000/ for, advance EMi, Insurance, administrative charges,RTGS, etc, each time they told me that they would not be asking for any more payments and this was the last one. It went on and on, till they asked me for 12000/ more, after which i said that I did not want their loan and would they return my money. For this they said they wanted 7000/cancellation charges. I said you deduct it from the 38000/ after which I have not heard from them and they do not pick up their phones. I was a fool to send them so much of money. is their any was to get it back?I have sent them a series of emails for which I get no reply.
