I bought a Bajaj room Cooler on 6 Apr 14 from Defence Electronics at circuit road, Jodhpur for a sum of Rs6100.00 in the name of genuine Bajaj product.
On reaching Home I found the plastic body sub standard and the swing not functioning proper. It was then that I saw that on top of the Name was written in small letters “fitted with Bajaj motor and fan”. Meaning it was an imitation being sold as original.
I sent the cooler back on 7 Apr 14 to either get it changed for a couple of other original models (Bajaj or Kenstar) ready to pay for the difference in amount or for them to take it back refunding my amount if they don’t have the models I wanted.
He simply refused to refund saying it is not their policy. When I told to get the models I desired he quoted around 2000 more than the advertised price. When I told that u had given it to me as original Bajaj and had duped me he refused to talk to me.
Pl resolve the matter as it is a case of fraudulent practice of selling dubious items in the name of original company products and then refusing to take it back… and trying to fleece more money than the market price for other models when given the option of exchanging it.
The owners names are Sunil and Shalin (probably correct as they even refused to tell their names. … we got these from some workers) M/s Defence Electronics, circuit house road, Jodhpur.
