Fraud Process is inefficient and unproductive

Hi All,

I got a credit card fraud while I was in South Africa. There were 70 transactions made on my card 36 debit and 34 credits. Seems that the person wasn’t able to make successful transactions on my card however the amount credited and the amount debited was not the same. So in total i lost around Rs 7000. From my understanding it must be the transaction charges SBI put each transaction and that’s why the amount credited back to my card is lesser than the debit. Any layman can figure that out.

I followed the SBI chargeback procedure and investigation began but after a while they closed the investigation saying that the amount has been credited back.
I called them up (which is a very very painful process cause not only SBI IVR sucks, nobody pics up the phone on chargeback team). After trying it for days and days i got to speak to them and i told them that it’s just not one transaction but 70 transactions are in dispute as i sent it in the dispute form. And the amount of credit adn debit isnt the same.

They reopened the issue, took 3 months and again closed it giving the same reason.

I asked them so many times to call me back so that i can explain if they are not understanding the issue correctly but there is no response.

I cannot reach them through regular IVR process cause they do not pick up the call neither they respond back to my emails. Even escalation to there so called Nodal Office doesnt make any sense.

Following is the interaction id: Interaction Id- 1-828841706 Transation dispute

Kindly help me.

Thanks,
Surbhi
