My wife was hospitalized in this nursing home yesterday for a Abscess to be operated. Its a minor operation of 15 mins. Te entire time spent in the hospital was from 7pm to 11pm and the bill provided to me was 9500 and I had to bring medicines worth 1000 which was used during the operation. Before the operation I was charged 1000 for anesthesia. Later when asked why the charges were so high, I was told that it was done under emergence. We never asked to get things done in emergency. I was not even provided a bill for the same. The amount was broken up in a piece of paper with Operation changers 6000, theatre room charges 2500, room rent 600, nursing charges 400, anesthesia charges 1000 and medicines used 1000. A total of 11500 was charged to me and no bills provided.
