Fraud by MetLife India Insuarance Company Limited

With this letter I refer you with all the events that I have faced since the starting of this policy.

I took the above mentioned policy on 16th March 2009 wherein I underwent a full body detailed check up wherein I had disclosed my health status as being diabetic. It was a well known fact and not a non-disclosure to your company which is also accepted by you in the mail dated 16th April 2012.
After knowing all the facts of my health, you granted me with the policy and thereafter I paid the premium amount for consecutive two years amounting to INR 10,00,000/-(Indian Ruppees Ten Lakhs Only).

As due to certain reasons, i could not pay the premium of 5,00,000/-(INR FIVE LAKHS ONLY) every year on time for the third year.So when i had a talk with the executives of the company they told me as per the policy of the company and as my policy is lapsed, I have to again undergo the health check-up before i pay the premium for 3rd year and then they will revive the policy . As being told by the company as to first go for the health check-up and then only they will accept the premium amount for revival.
I underwent the health check-up as advised at BARODA HEART INSTITUTE and after receiving the report of my health check-up the officials from your company were satisfied with it and then they accepted and also advised for the policy revival through payment of the premium amount and so as confirmed by the company ,i paid an amount of 5,00,000/-(INR FIVE LAKHS ONLY) though cheque no.812206 drawn on Axis Bank dated 22-09-2011 for the third year.
After paying the premium of 5,00,000/- for the third year, i didnot receive any reply for the next two months but at my surprise, after these two months i have received a letter and cheque of refund from the MET LIFE COMPANY through Application No.MVA301981540 with cheque no.000932642 drawn on Axis Bank. But there were no reasons stated for such refund and “REM-Re-instatement Decline” was the only statement written.

Thereafter I have been repeatedly trying to communicate with the company and have repeatedly wrote to the company several times regarding the reinstatement of my above mentioned policy but again and again you have told me that you cannot go any further with the policy and my whole amount and profits on it are forfeited.
Thereafter I was called from the company to go for MER Medical check-up on 26/12/2011 and then after the receival of the reports, they accepted a cheque of my 3rd Premium amount of INR 5,00,000/-(Indian Ruppees Five Lakhs Only).
Then again I was called up by the company on 28/02/2012 for again undergoing medical check-up.
Thereafter again I underwent a health check-up on 24/03/2012.
Thereafter approximately within a period of 2 months after the health check-ups, I have received back the 3rd Premium amount I have paid after approximately two times after medicals done.

I would like you to refer to all the communications wherein I have disclosed all my health history since the beginning of this policy and it clearly shows your intention of committing the fraud and forfeiting the amount I have paid till date and profits on it.
I am very clear about all the disclosures related to my health and have performed each and every part of the policy in good faith. By my act of going for the medicals every time within a period of two months , it clearly shows the positive attitude and co-operative part on my side to help you to reinstate my policy but because of your disguised intentions you have not followed the contract of Life Insurance in Good Faith.
I have chose to escalate to the appropriate higher legal authority empowered to take such cases as you have given me your final Verdict wherein you have rejected to reinstate my above mentioned policy and forfeited all amount I have paid till date and with profits on it.

Please Find attached with all the communications till date with your company.

AND TILL THERE IS ANY DECISION TAKEN ON REVIVAL OF THIS POLICY, I AM LIABLE TO BE INSURED IN THIS POLICY AND ANY CLAIMS COMING WITHIN SUCH TIME ARE BINDING TO BE PAID BY YOUR COMPANY.
