Dear Team,
I received a promotional email on 21st June 2012 from ‘Bag it today’
and after filling the form I received a call from your sales
department from one Mr Ravi Saxena (09891294620). He said that its a
promotional offer and I would get “A mini laptop from Dell and a
Reebok travel bag” as gift once I book a holiday package worth Rs
5998.00 (Package Inclusions: 2 Vouchers of 2N/3D valid for use within
India Only.The Vouchers can be used for 2 separate Holidays or clubbed
to extend the nights up to 4N/5D).
The only option of payment was via credit card which I promptly made.
I then received a confirmation acll on 22nd June 2012 and was informed
that I wasn’t eligible for any gifts, I requested to
cancel the order (#1017865105) and was told that I would receive a
call within 48 hours to cancel.
I waited till 27th June for a call from the cancellation team however
no call was made. I called on the number provided and enquired about
the cancellation request wherein I was informed that no such request
has been updated. I agree that it was totally my fault in believing in
such a fake offer. Its pathetic to see how low these people can stoop to
make a sale and weave any cock and bull lie to make a sale.
