It is a matter of fraud by IRCTC only, my uncle age 69 is old enough to handle this kind of fraud, I booked a e-ticket for him from LKO to DLI having pnr number
6111959721, I took the printout of the that ticket booked in tatkal quota. After that my uncle continued his journey with that ticket and mentioned id card, but TE came and asked to vacate the allotted birth and said that ticket was cancelled. He called me and I checked it immediately but i was shocked to see that ticket was in the list of cancelled tickets and the refunded amount was zero.
TE charged my uncle heavily under the rules of railway and considered him without ticket. You can’t imagine the pathetic condition of my uncle whose health was not good. This inconvenience caused by you was very annoying and painful.
Now, I’m going to complain about this fraud in consumer forum and will seek for justice. As it was night journey and a senior citizen sick person was “cheated by your Website” . Why would I cancel my ticket on the same day of booking in tatkal quota when I myself know the amount is non-refundable???.
