I have contested for Samsung Galaxy Grand Contest on 05.03.2013 through “100bestbuy.com” by paying Rs. 699. After about 1-2 days I got a call asking to pay Rs. 6999 more to be a part of the lottery. Total I paid Rs. 7698 (Rupees seven thousand six hundred & ninety eight). But after then I had received no calls from their end. I have sent mails to [email protected] regarding this. Suddenly on 02.04.2013 I have received a Tab (brand: Zebronics) as free gift. On enquiry, they reply that the result for the contest was yet not declared.
On 29.04.13 I have sent a mail to know the result of the contest. Then on 02.05.13 they have given a reply stating that that I was not in the lucky winner’s list. So as per their contest terms & conditions the amount of Rs. 7698 which I have paid for the contest has been added as credit points in my 100bestbuy.com account which can be redeemed on the next purchase.
On 04.05.13 I have tried to purchase a product with my available credit points but I was shocked to know then that I can redeem only 25% of my available credit points. Immediately I called their customer care and enquired regarding the redemption policy. They are saying that for a purchase we can redeem only 25% of the credit points, which is not as per their terms and conditions published in their web site portal.
Also as per their terms and condition, it is 100% cash back offer. Customer Care people now telling that, as per company policy, I can’t redeem my whole credit points at once.
This is very injustice. I have paid the amount at once. Now I am getting 25% of the amount as credit points for any purchase (which also includes shipment charges). In their terms & condition there is no mention of 25% of total credit points to be reimbursed. Now I want to avail my total bonus points at once. I lost my hard earned money to these bunches of frauds.
I want justice … Please help.
