Found iron ring in my food

Location/place: Chennai

Name of company/service: Hotel Okadeys

On 1st of October, 2012, I had purchased a parcel of Sambar rice. On opening it , I found an iron ring(diameter- approx 2.5 cms).
Please advice me as to what to do further.
