I own a Volkswagen Polo with Regn Number HR51 AM 3262 purchased from Broadway Autoworld P. Ltd, Faridabad.
After repeated calls from Volkswagen Customer Care, I gave my car for Summer Camp Check-up on May 12, 2013 at Broadway Autoworld, which was attended by Mr. Sumit (Service Advisor). The time I gave my car, there were no issues. Post delivery on the same day, I discovered that the head lights were not working, so I immediately informed Mr. Sanjeevan (Service Advisor) as Mr. Sumit wasn’t available. He asked me to bring the car and get it checked again. After checking, he informed that the head light switch isn’t working and I need to get it replaced bearing a cost of Rs. 10,000. I believe, someone has either changed the switch or the working has been disturbed while performing the checkup. As when I went there to get my car checked again, the technician pulled out a switch from the car standing next to mine without taking any permission, so I believe same must have happened with my car and switch. Moreover, I also noticed that there was no water in the wiper tank, so my concern is what have they done in the summer check up apart from cheating me in this manner.
I forwarded my concern to Volkswagen Customer Care on May 18, 2013 and also on May 21, 2013 but no action has been taken from their end. They are not accepting their fault and asking me to pay the complete amount. It is not possible for me to drive my car without headlights.
Please look into this matter and kindly do the needful.
