False promise committed by the company

Dear Officer,

My name is Ajay and I am from Chandigarh itself. I am writing this email regarding a complain about false promise that have been committed by one of Sony Authorized Retailer.

Actually the thing is I had purchased a handset of Sony and the details are below:

The retailer promised me at the time of purchasing and I insist him many times to tell me that if this handset is upgradable or not on Android. I specially asked him various time that is the handset Android software upgradable or not, and he says yes all the time. But it’s been a while i didn’t get any alert or notification on the same so I just make a call on customer care and one of your executive name “Priyanka” said that due to some compatibility issues we wouldn’t be able to provide the Android version updates on Sony Experia C. I am very disappointed with that because I purchased that handset specially for the Android Update capability.

So now I am feeling very cheated and demand for compensation. If this handset is not able to be updated then it’s not worth to me otherwise i would have go for any Android phone is market. Why would I invest 18000 on such handset.

So I would demand if you can provide me a new handset with new upgradable handset of the same model or please let me know. I can’t take this anymore. It’s genuine cheating type thing. If it’s not compatible then it’s not my mistake at all. Company should provide me the solution for the same.

I am not demanding the money but all I want to change my handset to a new upgradable one or may be I can pay the difference a new Sony mobile with a upgrade version of Android as well as Upgradable option.

Again I am repeating the same that I can pay the difference but I need a new upgradable Android phone. It’s a false promise from Sony as well as retailer. You people don’t have right to hide the things or anything with the customers just to raise your “Sales”. You people are technical but customers is not always that much technical like me. Also the handset is under warranty so there will be no any problem so solve my problems I guess.

So i would like to request you to please tell me the solution. I am waiting for your response and looking forward to hear some genuine solution.
