False advertisement by Make My Trip

Location/place: Kharagpur,West Bengal

Name of company/service: Make My Trip – Domestic Hotel booking cancellation

“Make My Trip” is mentioning that there is no cancellation charge in Domestic Hotel booking, if cancelled prior to 24 hours from the check-in date/time.

But practically they are charging INR 250/-, for each cancellation, though the booking has been cancelled 30 days before. In this context,I would like to mention my Hotel booking ID with them as NH261241973960. This hidden cost is not exhibiting by “Make My Trip”, during hotel booking. This is totally unfair.

    With reference to your complaint, please note that balance refund of INR 250 has been processed today with refund reference number 223421128094.

    The refund is processed from our end today, however it may take up to 5-7 business days to reflect in your account depending upon your bank processing cycle.
