What the worst service Airtel !
Issue I have faced with Airtel since last 2-3 months.
i. Un authorized calls:
Every time I get calls from Unknown numbers and when I inquire :
– They just tell that they are calling from Airtel
– They do not tell their Name
– They do not tell their Employee ID
– They do not tell their Department and Office Location
ii. Fake Information :
I got calls from Unknown number which was saying he his from Airtel and told me that I will get 3 G service across Maharashtra.
He then assured me that for each area of Maharashtra, by any means I will be provided with 3 G.
But it failed. I did not get 3 G.
One call was there , and the guy was forcing me to get the plan where I already have told him, that I do not wish to start it out, he was still forcefully asking should I start the plan?should I start the plan?should I start the plan?…Airtel keep consumers forcing again and again to get the new services .
iii. Recovery Issue:
-I got several calls from Unknown numbers who used very rude,un professional ,harassing and threatening language against me regarding recovery of bill.
– Without prior permission , they called my relatives regarding this.
– When asked to collect cash from the location , at which I was for few days , they said that they do not have anyone to collect the cash, but still pay the bill within half hour.
– Every call says different -different outstanding , so are they really Airtel employees? or fake agents ?
iv. Closing My Connection:
As they provide door step service for starting new connection , they have to provide the same eagerness if someone got annoyed from this stuff.
But Alas ! Consumer have to go and fill the form in their office for this.
So for starting a connect its OK to fill form from anywhere , but why not to close the connect?
It proves that Airtel do not want the consumer to close their accounts and hence they can extract more and more money un necessorily.
My Case have major outlines :
i. Fake Information as Airtel may have hired bully agents for recovery and also keep forcing to get their plans.
ii. Image Corrupting : The recovery person have called my relatives and told them that I did not pay their bill, is there any note where I have signed that you can contact my relatives without my prior permission?
iii. Questing Service: They have to provide door step connection closing service

My Appeal : Very strict action against all these, so that thousands of consumers like me , will be rescued.
