I have the old (used) Walky Talky device in my home and that phone was disconnected few months back only. I planned to take new connection for that. For this purpose I called to Tata DoCoMo reputed person (Santosh – +918867481448). He came to my home and checked the device and he confirmed me that you will get new connection for this device without any problem. Once his confirmation I filled the document and signed for that document and paid Rs 100 for him (without bill). He told me that your phone will get activated within 24 hours. I waited for the activation 4 to 5 days, nothing will happen to the phone. I called to that person regarding this, then he told me that your device is not supporting to the new connection give two more days to me, anyway I will activate it for you and he given me the new number (65555752) to me. In mean time I got address confirmation call from Tata docomo to another number and I confirmed the address.
Some days later I got first month bill (around Rs 80) without using my phone because that phone never activated at all. Means I haven’t received/called single call from Tata Docomo or any other person to that number. I take the Bill and went to the same person. He told me that ignore this bill because your will not work for the new connection because of some ID problem. Same day I told to him that disconnect this connection and close this bill giving reason to Tata Docomo. He agreed and promised me that you will not get any calls and messages regarding this connection.
From last few months I am get every day Due Amount SMS and Hard Copy Bill to home. I raised the complaint against this Tata docomo, but no use. Regarding this I informed to that person, every time he will tell me that Today onwards it will get stop, don’t worry.
Today someone called from Tata Docomo (080-32567536) and told me that pay your Due amount otherwise you will get legal notice.
My question is why I have to pay the bill because single day I hadn’t received or called from that number. That phone is never activated to my device at all.
Please solve this issue.
