EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE BY NEW INDIA AGENT & INORDINATE DELAY IN MEDICLAIM BILL PAYMENT

I contacted the concerned Dev officer & Agent of NIA Moore Street Branch around 1st week of June to render assistance to me for the mediclaim reimbursement of Rs 77000 at the earliest towards Hospitalisation Expenses for my wife. Initially both of them assured to provide immdt assistance.But,finally after waiting for almost a week I personally had to submit the bill at TTK Healthcare as the Agent was always”” Very busy “” whenever he decided to pick up his mobile provide for CUSTOMER SERVICE
After receiving clarification letter FROM TTK I personally submitted the reply & thereafter I recd a communication regarding claim settled for Rs 43000 on 7th July . For the remaining major amount the original bills were submitted immdtly as those were missed out.On a visit to TTK G N CHETTY road Branch the Front Desk lady official was extremely prompt & rendered excellent service/advise. She informed that on completion of 15 working days from 7th ie by 27th july chq would be issued as per norms . Since then I am at their mercy & reply to any call is “”Another 1 week ” This is going on for last 20 days , almost every alternate day .
THis is pathetic state of Service Industry
Question is why an Insurance customer has to shell out hefty 15% of premium for practically NO SERVICE provided by the Agent
Secondly why a bill submitted on 13th June remains unpaid after 2 months & 40 days from Settlement date ???
