EXTRA BILL CHARGES

Location/place: CHINCHWAD, PUNE

Name of company/service: VODAFONE

Hi Team,

Recently I changed my secondary mobile number (9423089249) from BSNL to Vodafone after a use of seven years, from July-2005. The Network got convereted to Dec-2012 as per my MPORT request. The Vodafone connection was Postpaid and the service got started by 13-Dec-2013. I have my primary mobile number (9673000220) of Vodafone from last four years in Pune & I’m highly deligthed with vodafone services, so this was the only reason for converting my secondary numbe to Vodafone.

As the Vodafone network started on 13-Dec-2013, I was not aware that Vodafone mobile connect (VMC) is also activated with the service cost of 10PS/10KB. I requested for monthly VMC of 1GB in a week itself to enjoy the service as I used this connection in my Karbonn-A7 android phone. This phone will easily help me to stay in touch with my parents. VMC got started by 25-Dec-2013 and then I started getting over-limit notification mail from vodafone for over Rs.2000/-. I thought as the vodafoneisa CUG plan so the actual charges will get calculated in the bill monthly cycle, but afterwards found that 10PS/10KB chargs were Rs.1500 above from start and noted in the first bill itself.

I requested Vodafone care with lots of emails for wave off my extra charges as I was not aware about the VMC 10PS/10KB and even Vodafone company never calle to notified me that this default service isactive as you have started with Vodafone connection. My first complaint email was on 11-Jan-2013 after the bil generation on 6-Jan-2013.

Still no resolution on my complaint & request. But I receive everyday a call for Vodafone marketing for bill payment of Rs.1800/-

I explain to every caller forbill payment that this is the cmplaint for whichI’m waiting for but no resolution yet.

The number got deactivated by Vodafone on 4-Feb-2013 on the second bill.

I requested then to consider my request, but on one answered.
Even paid a monthly rental of Rs.300/- so as to show them that I really care for the number, but still no answer from them.

I’m really frustrated now after a month of complaint, but no one is listening so I thought to reach consumer forum for my request.

Please help.
