I worked for kotak NGO it is started by Mr. Kotak with whatever intention but there is not much work for senior management people. most of them are idling away time by surfing net, chitchatting, bunking work and mall hopping.

they have designated their work to grassroot level employees and those who do work are targetted by the college kids who are part time employees of this NGO.

the top level people are misusing funds and rerouting it for personal gains. day by day greed is increasing and solid groups have been built who are into making false schemes and pocketing money

unnecessary trainings, hiring trainers who are just roadside unemployed people and taking commission from them is the scam of pocketing money by managements of this NGO

also lot of unnecessary camps, overnight tours are arranged where again some commission is earned by the corrupt management

the intentions of trustee maybe good but they have hired wrong exploitative people who tarnish reputation of this NGO

if you are looking for genuine work to help poor then this is wrong place but if you want to while away time, have fun, enjoy and earn lot of money then this is the best place.

many of their stakeholders humiliate them and their grassroot level workers because they are aware of this NGOs real intentions

they should employ simple, decent, honest people on top level management rather the fake people who buy lot of spiritual books and keep them on office table to show they are God fearing, forwarding bulk spiritual emails to employees to show their love of God and behind the curtain indulging in money making scam ideas.

basic amenities are not provided but the management expects smooth working of the projects they have large scale annual program but necessary equipments to conduct program the grassroot level employee as to fund from own pocket.

they have a harsh appraisal process (yes you heard me right appraisal for working in slums of mumbai) 3 different people appraises the employee and they only only only humiliate you and give you less scores no matter what you do.

like i told you top level management have no work they are idle and appraisal is big work for them. so they humiliate you and vent their personal frustrations on you and if you offer them money or expensive gifts then they spare you but otherwise they decide to sacrifice you to the altar.

yes they recruit only creamy layer of society people, people who can easily get job in any corporate why cant they give the jobs to poor, differently abled, special needs people, such people really need job rather then those creamy layered timepassing people.

Many special needs, slow learners approach this NGO for job but are rejected outright and they have no place else to go
