I bought the Exide IT500i inverter battery for my home on April of this year-2012.The battery is not charging properly .So I called the customer care no 1800-103-5454 for the service,the customer care rep informed me that with in two days I will get a call from the service persons who will attend the battery issue.Customer care Rep also gave me the service engineer’s contact number.When I didn’t receive the call from the service engineer,I called his mobile.He said that they won’t give onsite support for the inverter batteries.Instead I have to carry the battery to Thiruverkadu which is 14 kms away from my place.I explained that the battery is weighing about more than 30 kilos.It is difficult for me to carry all the way to your service station.He bluntly replied that this is their policy.Please help me to sort out this issue.I need the onsite support for the battery.
