I’ve been subscribed to NCPLUSSILVER internet plan of reliance communications. It gave me 5gb usage at broadband speed and then unlimited data at lower speed, per month. I paid Rs.750 (plus tax). Around two months back, I found that the company had changed the name and tariff for the plan that I was subscribed to. The new name is NCPLUS5GBUL_599. The new tariff is Rs.599 (plus tax). All the features of this new plan are the same as the old one except for the name and the tariff. Moreover, the company replaced the NCPLUSSILVER plan with NCPLUS5GBUL_599 plan in the listing on it website also. Currently, the company mentions “5 GB unlimited” plan that offers “Upto 5 GB” “Data Usage upto 3.1 Mbps” and “Unlimited usage @ 144 kbps beyond 5 GB” on its website (http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/internet/wireless_internet.html), for “Rs.599.” These are the essential features of my plan. They do not mention any other plan on their website with these features. However, they are still charging me at the old rate. I complained in the month of June, but to no avail.

There is cheating on relaince communication they increase my rental and provided me higher rental plan with 750+ taxes billing for 5GB data whereas there is cheaper plan available NCPLUS5GBUL_599 from April’2014 and they are charging me Rs.750. This needs to be address and my charges needs to reversed since they have increase my plan abruptly. This kind of cheating is not tolerated at all.

Please dont cheat and reverse all charges from April’2014 till today or else i will take strickt action against this kind of cheating.

after commenting here i got call but its of no use customer care executive told nothing can be done and we will charge you more in the name of different plan and we cannot help you. Being 5 years old customer of reliance and they are cheating with old customer and providing benefits to the new customers and i ask him what additional benefits i get by paying Rs.750 per month instead of Rs.599 and it they says nothing but you are under different plan we will charge you more. Its really really cheating in the name of different plan and i will go and put my feedback on each and every forum about it. Lets consumer be aware about such cheating.
