EXAGERATION OF CLAIMS

Dear sir/Madam.

I have subscribed to a personalised membership of bharatmatrimony.com 3 months ago. Whereby under service of Privilege matrimony we were promised about follow up of profiles and contacting of profiles through bharatmatrimony staff.
In the due course of 3 months have found the service very bad and too much lie because of the following reason
1) Profiles that were sent were incomplete for e.g. WITHOUT PHOTO, WITHOUT FAMILY BACKGROUND.
2) Many of the profiles sent to us were not according to the preferences set by us.
3) Every time to know the status of the follow up we have to take an initiative and not the staff of matrimony site.
Dont know about any refund from them. But this is the complaint am lodging because i feel that these sites simply play with the emotions of people. I have paid 16k for this service and found that during the time of personal meet related to service the claims are really exagerated and sold to us.

    We note, with surprise, your sharing of your experiences with us on this forum. At the outset, we deeply regret the fact that you had to take your dissatisfaction so. We take this opportunity to put forth our views which may correct the imbalance in the perception created by you. Of course, its our endeavour to improve the service and we take this opportunity too to do just that. Not for nothing is BharatMatrimony a brand that is trusted by millions: we marry off several thousands of members PER DAY and even in PrivilegeMatrimony, our successes have crossed thousands.

    Here are the statistics: we shared a little over 50 profiles in the membership period. You have accepted nearly 40 of them! For the critieria that you have set and from the past trends of similar customers, we believe that this is a good performance. Of the ones that were not accepted by you, a few were ones that did not match the very stringent criteria set by you. These, the Relationship Manager appointed for you assured to us, were done post discussions with you and keeping in mind your best interest . This is evident from the fact that you have allowed us to proceed even in a a few of such profiles that were not entirely in line with your criteria.

    Your grouse that a few profiles sent to you were without photos or family description is correct. However, uploading of photos or family description is members’ prerogative: a few add willingly, a few do not and a few more hide/protect the photos due to privacy reasons – none of these are under our control. Even then, in most cases, your Relationship Manager has been able to get the photos from other members by writing to them directly. Indeed, your Relationship Manager has been in constant touch with you through phone and e-mail in order to keep yourself updated on the proceedings.

    Overall we have found your comments to be a tad harsh. We believe that the service rendered is up to our commitment . Of course, you as a customer is entitled to feel dejected if matrimonial alliances do not materialize in the manner one usually wishes: swift, quick and excellent. In such cases, we would always suggest to continue to search and interact with prospects with more vigour.
