Horrible customer service and cheating from Eureka Forbes
Never ever buy an aquaguard or any other product from Eureka forbes. The most pathetic service from any consumer goods company. I heard and read multiple negative reviews about the product and service especially online but assumed a company with the brand equity of eureka forbes would have done something so I needn’t worry when buying an aquaguard.
I got an acquaguard barely two months ago. Before agreeing to buy, we were promised extended warranty. After that the employee tried upselling other Acquaguard products. I insisted that he first give us the receipt for the extended warranty.
He kept procastinating for weeks together. I finally said take back the product if you won’t give the extended warranty. Finally, he relented and I got the warranty. Now, the product has developed a defect in barely a month and a half of operation. Am unable to get the customer service guy to come fix it. On the phone, I was told “this is a very common problem with new acquaguards, we will send someone, don’t worry”.
I’ve been waiting at home the last two days, the guy says I’ll be there in half an hour, then there is no response. In spite of repeated follow up, the phone is not answered. Don’t even know the guys’s name. No is 9059813755.
Then today another service representative calls saying when do you want us to come today? I asked about their horrible service where they’ve kept me waiting for days and how he can so casually ask when they’ve not responded for days together. During the conversation, the call got disconnected. After that, he stopped answering my calls or even responding to my messages even after I threatened to post complaints about their product and service attitude online. This guy’s no.is+918125261180.
I am posting this nos. because I’m hoping that in the entire third rate company, there might be one or two ethical senior level people who might take these irresponsible and rude lower level employees to task.
Needless to say,after these horrible experiences, I’m never buying any Eureka Forbes product ever and am also recommending the same to all my friends and family. I have been forced to buy mineral water the last two days because there is no drinking water in my house.
Unfortunately, most companies have the same horrible customer service, and they probably think they can get away with it because the customer has no option. There should be a speedier option of justice available to deal with these unethical, rude and incompetent companies, which spend crores and crores on advertising their products, which are not even very good to begin with (as experienced by my water purifier) but have horrrible service with zero responsibility as their added insult to injury.
I’m writing this to make sure as many people as possible know about this because I don’t want any other customer to go through what I had to go through.
