Eureka forbe water filter is under breakdown nobody attending the same

I have taken a water filter from Eureka forbes ( model-Enhanced UV+ ) . the filter is under breakdown since 1 month but no body is attending the same . I service engg. called and he told that all the filters need to replaced ( costing around 1230 INR ) without checking the equipment .
