“Empty” Pack delivered

Name of company/service: Letsbuy.com

I had placed an order for Reliance BIGTV HD set-top-box on www.letsbuy.com on the 7th of April 2011.

The payment term chosen was Cash On Delivery – COD.

The package came through BlueDart on the 20th of April 2011 vide AWB# 58591970916.

To my horror, the package was empty with only some packaging foam in it. The courier buy insisted on getting paid first which offcourse I did not do. The package was weightless so I had a doubt.

While I did not lose any money in this but the experience has left a very bad taste as far as e-commerce companies such as LETSBUY.COM are concerned.

I would like to request that strong action is taken against such con operations in the guise of running e-Commerce portals.
