I had purchased an electrolux refrigerator model ER650FF OZ on 15/4/2010 from M/s Himalayan Shoppe,S F Road, Siliguri ,then a brand shop i.e Digiworld vide their bill no VID/50/HS dated 15/4/2010.
The said refrigerator was working fine till October 2011. It was in November 2011 that i noticed that the fridge was not cooling. I immediately contacted the dealer who promised that somebody from the service centre will be there to check. After a lot of folowup somebody from the srvice centre came and found that the compressor was not functioning so promised that the compressor has been indented and will be delivered shortly.
I have been following up with the service centre and the dealer but till the time of writing this complain the call remains closed.
The ref no provided by the dealer is EKOL/1904120096.
In this period of last eight months i have been assured of prompt services, assured that the company is going to provide another refrigerator etc etc the service manager also called me up and said that the refrigerator has been replaced and will be delivered within the next day all in vain.
I really do not understand whether my refrigerator will ever get replaced or not.
I am really feeling cheated and companies like these are actually making a loot.
My sincere advice to all those who read this please never ever buy or recommend Electrolux.
Hope my complain will be addressed soon.
