I have ECS payment for electricity bill of WBSEDCL through HDFC BANK, NARENDRAPUR branch since 4/5 years. Suddenly HDFC bank has stopped my payment on 23rd July’2014 without any information, without my concern, though sufficent balance was there in my account No. 07521000008570. Now Bank is giving too many reason which not at all acceptable. As per bank they use to confirm for the payment from the customer.
1) They never confirmed earlier for this type of payment. 2) I confirmed from other customer those who are under ECS with same bank of same branch as bank never confirmed from them. 3) At first ECS amount was debited from my account and then again it has been credited on same day. 4) Bank’s excuse bank could not communicate me for confirmation over phone.
I think this has been done purposely to harras me. Proper enquary/ judgement/ action should be taken.
