I had requested for migration from post-paid to pre-paid of my data card on 7th March 2012 and at that time I paid an amount of Rs-1270.00 [Recipt No: IB00016283965] which included my bill for that month and migration charges.
But still after that I was continuously receiving bills every month.
When I talked to the customer care for this issue, they told me that there is no entry for my migration request in their system.
Then I again went to the Reliance Webstore outlet from where I initiated my request for migration.
They told me that from their side the request was not processed further, and they took the my request again (request no: 177676963).
And now my question is due to negligence of the Reliance Web World outlet, why should I pay an amount of Rs- 1272.00?
Even I did not used my data card for a single day after I had requested for migration for the 1st time.
They have sent me a mail where they have asked me to submit the bill, I replied them with the same explanation above, but they did not reply further.
Now they have sent me ‘LAWYER NOTICE/1817/857’ where they are asking to pay the amount otherwise they will initiate civil and criminal proceedings against me.
For any proof I have all the emails and bills with me.
