Due date is over but money has not been paid by company

I have invested some money in M/s Hahnemann Food Products Limited,the company has given me check of HDFC Bank but company is saying dont deposit cheque this time pls. deposit after some days after.The case is exceeding upto one year no any proper report is coming from company.
