I got intimation from my Bank that they had couriered my debit card which is about to expire on 31/07/2012. The debit card got couriered from Chennai on 12/07/2012 via DTDC Courier (AWB ref# C42310639). The courier landed Bangalore on 13/07/2012. On 16/07/2012, I called up DTDC helpdesk @ 080-33004444 to know the expected time to receive the delivery. They provided mobile number of someone named Lakshman ( 9341627946) to coordinate. I called him. He told me that it will be delivered on 18/07/2012. I did not receive the consignment on 18/07/2012. When I called Lakshman on 19/07/2012 to know the status, one lady picked up the call and informed me that delivery person could not locate my address. When I interogated, she informed the courierr will definitely be delivered on 20/07/2012. I did not receive the delivery on 20/07/2012. I called up continuously on 21/07/2012, 22/07/2012 & 23/07/2012 to get the delivery. Meanwhile, I sent email to DTDC helpdesk, but no response.
On 23/07/2012, I called Lakshman, he informed that he is in some hospital and gave me number of another person (9341577711). I called him, he informed that the courier is at DTDC Chamrajpet store and some delivery person went to my door and found no one there. While I asked why the delivery person did not give me a call when he found the door locked (though my family was there at home & all other courier services do so or before coming home they give a call), he asked me to provide some other address where he can deliver the courier. I asked him to come at UB City, Bangalore-560001, where I will personally show him my photo ID proof and the letter copy from my Bank information, he agreed to do so and told me he will give me call when he will reach UB City, which is hardly 4-5 Kms away from Chamrajpet.
He did not contact me anymore, nor he is receiving my call. I dont know if I will get my document. Kindly do needful.
