Double Deduction of Money and Lack of Response

I had shopped from Lifestyle store Mulund west on 18th July, 2015. My invoice no. is 670148332. I made payment using my debit card and due to some error from your side my bill amount of INR 5221.00/- got deducted twice. I have been following up with their (hard to convince, non-friendly, knowledge lacking and irresponsible) employees from the same day itself regarding the issue. Names of their employee are Mr. Vaibhav and Store manager Mr.Chand employee code 1013956, but their inefficiency in handling customer complaints has made me visit the store thrice and the issue still remains unsolved. Here are the list of issues I have got from you employees: 1. Not ready to accept that transaction was done twice 2. Their team sent a query mail to support team in bangalore and I was assured that I would be kept in loop but they failed to do so 3. Initial response was that amount would be credited in few hours, then they said 2-3 days, then they said you should have followed up, then they said in 15 days and mind you issue is still unsolved 4. Now Mr. Chand tells me that we do not have that money as per the response we got from our bangalore team and wants me to go and solve the issue with my bank. He isn’t ready to double check from his end and believe the bank messages that I have got which clearly indicate that money was deducted twice. I also have bank statement in support of the transaction. I request all to be very careful while shopping at lifestyle stores of landmark group. They claim technical failure and deduct your money twice. Also, they will show you a mail from their technical team and not acknowledge that the money was deducted. They will show no faith in bank messages and bank statement proofs. Its unfortunate that such large companies would take so much time in solving such a small issue. Please avoid paying to these frauds by cards.
