While returning from Istanbul to Mumbai by Flight No. TK 721, we were offloaded due to overbooking and their office in Istanbul had re-routed us via Delhi by Flight No. TK 716. As the flight was about to depart from Istanbul, we could not collect the compensation cheque of EURO 450/- per ticket and instead they issued a Receipt and Release Voucher and very clearly requested us to show the same at their Mumbai Office and collect the refund of EURO 450/- each.

When we submitted all the documents at their Mumbai Office, they have changed their statement and informed us we are entitled to only 50% (i.e. EURO 225/-) if we are opting for cash/cheque and 100% (i.e. EURO 450/-) if we are booking another ticket of Turkish Airlines.

Under the circumstances, I would like to lodge a complaint against Turkish Airlines for giving false promise at Istanbul and for changing their statement in Mumbai.

Please register my complaint against Turkish Airlines. I can produce necessary documents, if called for.
