Last week I purchased a car insurance policy from ICICI Lombard. Since my previous policy had expired, I had to undergo a car inspection for the same. Usually the other companies do the inspection first and then ask for the premium, in ICICI Lombard it is the opposite, they ask for the payment first. I paid the premium on the assurance of the agent that the inspection will be done within 24 hours and I will get my policy in 4 days. It has been one week and I haven’t received a single call for the car inspection. My repeated calls and emails to both the agent as well as the customer care have paid no results and ICICI has literally scammed me of my money. Now even the agent has started talking abusively to me. When I asked for a refund, he hangs up the call.
