I had booked a ticket from New Delhi to Pune, travel date was 01/04/2013, flight timing 8:25 PM from terminal 1D, amount Rs.1888.
I had reached the airport at 8 PM but they didn’t allowed me to board the plane.
I was late because of the last time cancellation of the cab service. I told them as requested them to consider but they didn’t.
One of my friend who has the booking in the same flight told me that he is still in the terminal after check-in till 8:10, bus has not arrived to pick them to the flight but SpiceJet staff didn’t allowed me to check-in.
Because of this I have to book a flight in Air India next morning at Rs.8609 to reach my destination.
When I asked about the same issue with AirIndia Staff at check-in counter, they showed me the screen which was mentioning “Boarding will be closed before 20mins of flight depature” and AirIndia flights are operated from T3 which is huge as compared to 1D.
