I am jobless and do freelance work on the internet to pay for my debts.
Guru.com is one such nice platform where I found many freelance jobs.
I am new to Guru.com and therefore was very excited to win a bid.
The job was to create .gif file with bubble animations to be used in the website http://www.813rent.com/ and the project was awarded to me by a person named Scott Graham.
Later on he told me that his real name was Derek Hessler and his contact number is 813-504-6604 which were to be added in the website header/banner. The website was to be named ‘Oxygen Realty’.
Since I cannot afford my own computer system, I had to visit an internet café and worked whole night to meet his strict deadline. The internet café charged me Rs. 600 (i.e. $10 almost) for using their system and for access to different software required to create the banner.
I worked the whole night neglecting my fever as the project amount ($50) was enough to cover my flat rent.
However, as soon as I created and sent my hard work to him as an attachment he stopped communicating with me. I thought he might be busy and will revert back. But he never did and now I know that he will never pay my dues.
My hard work is lost, I am short on money and wasted what I have for this fraud and I still need to pay the rent.
Please steer clear of such frauds as Derek Hessler. He cannot be trusted in his deals. He is not a good person and trusting him with money is very risky. If he can cheat a poor man like me for stealing my $50, think what he can do with you. God save us from such frauds.
I know I will never get my money, still I am reporting this incident so that my readers can stay away from frauds such as Derek Hessler.
