DELL FOLDED THEIR HANDS OFFERING A SILLY EXCUSE

Sir,
I purchased a Dell Inspiron Laptop from DELL EXCLUSIVE STORE having model name INSPIRON N5110 with Express Service Code 117-183-486-97 with service tag no. 5DSSVQ1. When I purchased the laptop, the company ensures me the complete accidental benefit and warranty period of 1 year expiring 24/11/2012. But in between the warranty period, I am facing the problem with my speakers. The speakers must be changed as under warranty period but when i consult it with DELL Customer Care, they folded their hands by saying like this that the speakers are ruined due to the VLC Player installed in it as it damages the speakers and we can’t help you regarding this as our company only protects your product under technical issue but not the software counterfeiting. But sir, as coming to reality, I hardly use this player or hardly i used it for least 15 minutes in a year and now Dell is saying this that VLC harm your system. Doesn’t it can warn or inform the buyers before selling their products regarding not to install this player? Excluding this I don’t think that I am responsible for any kind of issue as this player is installed into my system at the time of purchasing from DELL EXCLUSIVE STORE by the seller. So, i need to claim the Dell for exchanging the speakers as my laptop is still in warranty till 24th oh Nov and I had registered my complaint to Dell Customer Care about 2-3 month ago.So, I need the Justice.

  1. Facing similar issue with my 1 month old DELL laptop, and same response from DELL. Would you tell me the final outcome on this issue ? It will help to tackle the issue.
