I was a part of 1st of Batch of DSIM which was started during July’2016. The promise was the course will be completed in 4 months time. After completion of 7 months of training session now we are told that they do not own anything and their responsibility is only to deliver the knowledge in the classroom and learning is upto the students. Also, its the bothorisation of the students to get the Certifications from Google and Face book and DSIM will only send email material for appearing for the exams.
This absolutely rubbish to claim as an advanced training program where as after 7 months of our valuable time, money and energy, we do not stand anywhere against the promises made by the DSIM during the demo sessions or as stated in DSIM Brochure. Appended is a mail Conversation with the Senior Management of DSIM and I am able to send only a part of this review considering the space limitation.
My query to DSIM:
As per the course brochure, DSIM supposed to ensure that they will organize the Google certifications. I surprise, they feel their job is over just by sending an email with sample question papers… Where as people join the course for obtaining the certificate. pl verify the Brochure. Pl confirm is there anything pending from DSIM in this regard.
DSIM Response:
Yes, DSIM provides you assistance over the email for certifications. No, there is nothing pending in this regard. The other option could be, to call all the students at a particular, pre-decided date and time at the training centre and a trainer would assist them to get the certifications. We tried doing this, however, majority of the times, many candidates fail to appear and it further delays the batch completion date. This is the reason, we started email assistance. As far, as all of you got the certificates, and were provided assistance, if& when, required, I believe, we have been fulfilled our promises.
My counter Query:
Thank you for the confirmation indicating that the certification is our botherisation and DISM does not own any thing in this regard. I am reproducing the content from your brochrue regarding Google / Facebook certification :

One training programme and 9 certifications.
It is only skill and not degree that can help you grow. But if you are one of those individuals who believe in getting certified along with the Skills then, we have got you covered. Please clarify the meaning of the above statements if there is a gap in our understanding. (as per your statement, you job is over by sending emails and there is nothing pending from your side.)
My question:
We are surprised to note that there is no way of assessing the knowledge levels of the students during the training program! The people are joining the course by paying heafty money and they realize that they do not stand anywhere close to the their expectation what is claimed by the DSIM Brochure. Is this practical that DISM just do class room training as one sided effort and leave the students! I suggest to take a independent evaluation of the students after completion of the certification where do they stand.
DSIM Response:
Please be noted that this is a skill enhancement training program, the purpose is to deliver the complete knowledge as mentioned in the course curriculum. Post that, there are Google examinations that you have to clear to get the certifications. So, yes, there is an evaluation process in place. Professional courses do not have examinations, it is upto the candidate to grasp, understand, evaluate, practice and then clear doubts, if any, with the instructor.
My counter Response:
I hope you understand the difference between a skill upgradation/enhancement program and Training program. Enhancement happens to those who are already in a specific job in a specific domain. During the demo classes, you claim that any graduate with basic computer knowledge can join this course.( refer mr Subbarao Mail) and now you say it is an enhancement program. I do understand about skill enhancement as I work as a General manager in a service Industry having about 40k employees . You claim your institute as a Delhi School of Internet Marketing( You are a school and not a training institute as per your name and strange to see a school running training program!) Any training / skill upgradation has to be followed by an assessment. One sided delivery does not help any one and I am sure that none of the students have joined the course to listen the one sided communication. For the sake of example, if you impart training to some of your trainers by paying some money, I hope you expect them to perform better after completing the training. But in our case, neither we feel we are upgraded not there is an assessment.
My question:
It was promised that the important topics like Affiliate Marketing will be taken by Kunal from Delhi. Subsequently, it was informed that initially it will be taken by local trainer and Kunal class with be through Webinor and it has become a never ending episode. Just taking the students as granted.
DSIM Respnse:
Regret the inconvenience caused. To put a stop to this never ending process, I would be sharing some videos, by Kunal himself, for Affiliate Marketing?. Kindly note that these would be proper class videos, which are self-explanatory. Any doubts, would be handled by my training team at HYD, and/or, you can email them directly to me. However, kindly note that I would be sharing the videos with you on individual email requests.
My counter question:
Again, It was a commitment started from DISM that Affiliate marketing will be taken by KUNAL, then downgrading the classes by the local trainer with an assurance there will be webinor and no communication from Hyd office about online classes now getting concluded by sharing the videos on a personal request. My question is why to make false promise and dilute it? Is it fair on part of DSIM to commit something to attract the candidates and once they pay the money and join, just deliver them some videos? I hope that you are aware of the series of communications and meetings between our batchmates with Hyderabad office and your support team ended in no result. Now finally an assurance coming of sharing of videos on personal request. Will take it.
My question:
Considering the money we spent to become an advanced Digital Marketeer, now we realise that we do not stand anywhere close to the teaching of the local institutes and our knowledge levels are not enough to either deal with the customers(sending business proposals, costing estimate for the projects etc., ) or we are aware of the options(otherthan basics of WordPress installation) to offer to the customers.
DSIM Response:
I do not agree to this. This is a professional training program, with the objective of providing you know-how’s of the Digital Marketing Domain. Yes, you will have a lot of doubts when you practise, the reason, support is in place, post-completion of the course.? Further, to add it, and take it forward amicably, I am happy to provide you with 1-0-1 support till the end of this year, 2017. This does not imply that you can take complete classes, however, doubts, if any, that arise during your practise, would be replied to via email or a schedule centre visit.
My Counter Question:
The question of one on one support comes into picture only to clarify doubts. We are seeking the clarity on quality of training and content of training. (Pl see the point in Bold) we are asking about the content that the local institutes who charge much less are providing better content and information. As I said, as a certified Digital Marketer ( By DSIM), I am not capable of giving a proposal to any of prospective customer and have no idea about costing which are being thought by other institutes. I think your understanding about an advanced digital marketeer in the market place is far from reality.
My Question:
Surprisingly, there were no feedbacks taken from your Delhi office about the way classes were conducted considering these are first few batches happening at Hyderabad! Few of the batch mates were continuously in touch with your team in Delhi but no action on the complaint or satisfactory result seen in spite of repeated reminders.

Sincere regret if you feel so. However, your batch, being the maiden batch at DSIM HYD, we ensured that no glitches should come during the course of your training. However, I deeply regret the inconvenience caused, if any, my team would be happy to assist you 1-0-1, in case any assistance is required, be it be a backup, or an individual doubt session, or, job-placements, etc.?
My counter Question:
I will not agree to your statement ” Sincere regret if you feel so.” I am not sure of your review mechanism with the enter and I can show many shortcomings and lack of discipline. I have highlighted them to your enter head many times. That is internal to you. I am talking about the deliverables to the students. Are you aware that many weeks the classes could not happen for want of internet connection! Last minute cancellation of classes due to trainer non availability! There is a huge gap in managing the expectation by you guys what you speak in the demo classes and what exactly you deliver in the class room. We have not seen any responses for the feedbacks given to your Delhi team. Check Subba rao Mail and I can share many more instances / emails shared with your support team. It simply says, your job is only to get the people to join the course and just leave them to their fortune.
List goes lengthy. I conclude here and request all the prospective students to be aware of the above practices of DSIM and suggest do not waste your valuable time, money and energy as we did.
