Dear Sir, I Adil Mirza resident of MIT GURUKUL Rajbaug, Loni Kalbhor Pune 412201.
was sent a confidential document by HDFC Credit Card Department on 25/7/2012 via above mentioned Courier Company. The courier company accepted the parcel and assured the delivery of the same at the above mentioned address within 3-4 working days as usually is required in case of courier. the courier arrived in pune on 27th July 2012 and was kept with the Company branch and was returned to Chennai office 2nd August Describing as OUT OF SERVICE AREA. without intimating me either via telephone call or SMS. The document was very important for me as I had to make registration and also to make some paymet which I could not do because of the delay and have suffered a great LOSS. Speaking to the HO in Pune & Chennai they are saying your address was out of service area. My question is when my address falls beyond their service area then why did they receive the parcel at the first instance.
do not they what are the area that is within their service area and what are the areas out of their service area.
I spoke to HDFC official also who said that the Courier company assured them of the timely delivery of the parcel and never mentioned that the address is out of the service area.
Please do the needful in this regard.
