Deficiency of service by Tikona Digital services

Location/place: Bangalore

Name of company/service: Tikona Digital Services

I have opted for a broadband connection from above provider. I have asked for two months unlimited 4mbps/512kbps and paid Rs1500/-. I was told no installation charges will be there as I have foregone their offer of 1 month free for two months
I paid for. Since the day of installation, I have problem with the service in that it is neither consistent nor reliable connectivity. There is a consumer care center at Bombay who are very un helpfull in the matter. With all this nuisance they have raised a bill on me for extra usage. In the application what Tarrif Plan they mentioned at the time of booking because the sales person says and we believe in what he is filling. So also with the installation staff. In plain it is a manipulation of the user by the company. The blow copy of my correspondence with them will speak for itself.

Dear Sir,
This is to put you on notice, that in spite of my repeated mails and complaints over toll free number
regarding inconsistent and unreliable service of yours, since the day your service was provided to me on 4 th
June, there has been no action in the matter.
Further while my service tariff is for an unlimited 4Mbps-512kbps with out out any connection charges, and I
having paid Rs 1500/- being 2 months usage charges, I do not find how you can bill me for extra usage.
In view of the foregoing there is definite deficiency in providing your service for which I paid you. Also there seems
to be manipulation of papers to show a different tariff in your records than what has been explained to me by your
sales person.
I am not going to pay any bills to you as you have indicated on your website and I intend to take issue to the
public viz media and approach the consumer court for recovery of the amount I paid you together with penalty for
the suffering in having an unreliable service.
You may forthwith stop my service, as I intend claim back the amount I paid for service for the second month.
Your customer care sits in Bombay and try to remote control the affairs here in Bangalore. With out a
responsible person here whom we can approach, any number of mails or calls will serve no purpose. Also you
have no redressal procedure in place for our grievances to get addressed.

Dear Sir,
It is a week since I lodged my complaint and it is unfortunate that the problem remain as it is other than
getting a auto reply and expression of deep regret for the inconvenience caused to me. Since the day I
got the service I do not have consistent internet connectivity through your service and it is very
unreliable, as when it is there and when it goes is unpredictable.
Secondly the sales executive with ID 500057911 has taken my order with payment of Rs 1500/-
being payment for 2 months for a plan of unlimited usage of 4Mbps-512kbps. if your paper work says
something different it is just nothing but plain cheating. If what your sales executive said was correct
there is no place to generate a bill due 3/7/2012 for 1358.06. I am not interested in having a plan
different than what your sales executive said. You may disconnect my service forthwith if it can not
be remedied.
An early action in the matter will be appreciated

Since the time of installation of your service I have not been getting consistent
connectivity. Many times I am getting the dialogue “ the web page is not available” in midst of
browsing. At times even the log in page gives the same dialogue at start. When I switch off
your hardware for some time and switch it on, the problem get solved only in some cases.
Further I am not able to login In Internet Explorer or use that application with your connection. I
have also reliance Netconnect with me with which I have no problems other than low speed.
One of your customer executive asked me to reinstall IE, which I did with no success.
Yesterday one of your engineer came for rectification of complaint and when the issue is not
resolved, he said he will come back in the evening as he has some urgent work. Neither he
turned up nor the issue is resoved. Surprisingly I have an SMS saying the issue stand
resolved.
I fail to understand what sort of customer care is this. On one hand when we take up the case
on your toll free number, most of the time I hear that it is all fine there and everything shows
good. what is needed is not showing fine there, but it should work fine here on PC. On my
insistence a complaint was registered and attended after 2 days, just for the field man to visit
and say the issue is resolved.
I have been using PC for last 17 years and know how the internet service should be, having
used services of BSNL,VSNL, RELIANCE. It is worst to have a service which is not consistent
in providing the connectivity, and that is what I am having now.
I request you to attend the problem and resolve the issue once forall.
