respected sir,
I had purchased a titan watch (model no. 9220SL01) worth Rs. 10000/- on 17/07/2010. as told by the shopkeeper i got 2 years warranty plus paid for extended warranty for another 3 years (EMG card no. A003226).
But the watch did not function properly since the first year. It stopped spontaneously, when repaired, it lagged time.we gave it repeatedly for repair several times but the problem never got solved. They kept the watch for MONTHS each time for repair which never got done. Last time they promised to change the machine and kept it for 2 months. They said the machine is changed but how does time lag even now? It seems as if they wish to pass time till its extended warranty expires and then say no. It is expiring on 16/07/15. We have asked for replacement many a times but they do not pay heed to it. further i have shifted to gwalior and the company says for every complaint i have to go to Indore! IS THIS NOT CHEETING? please pay attention to this problem. IT HAS CAUSED ME A LOT OF MENTAL TENSION AND DISTRUST.
I am fed up of all this now and just WANT THEM TO REPLACE IT WITH A WATCH OF SAME COST. I FEEL THAT IS VALID AS THE WATCH IS STILL IN WARRANTY AND I HAVE GIVEN THEM MANY CHANCES TO CORRECT IT BUT THEY FEEL WE ARE FOOLS.
