I used the services of Super star packers and movers to move my household stuff from mumbai to delhi 2 months back.
During pickup the people were very nice and they packed it well.
during unpacking in delhi,I found washing machine and fridge and few furniture items broken or they have dents.
I took 2 lakh insurance on the items through the mover and so i thought i am covered(and they told me that they will send me the softcopy of the insurance document in my email which they never did).but once i started asking for insurance claim on the broken items they are giving me one excuse or the other and i have this feeling that they never bought the insurance for the extra money i paid and everytime i call the movers they give me one excuse or the other .
Could someone suggest if i can go to consumer court and if there is any consumer court near dwarka ,delhi where i can appeal.Also if someone can help me with the appeal process
