I purchased a Voltas Air-conditioner machine on 14.4.11 and installed it on 17.4.’11 by the company with installation charge.After one year it became defective and as per service center’s comment Gas will have to be filled up and its charges will be Rs.2200/- though they denied to give written estimate as per their promise on written at the time of inspection on 17.5.’12 & 27.4.’13.In warranty book it is mentioned that one year warenty of defective spares & 5 years for compressor but nothing mentioned about Gas refilling.It is needless to mentioned here that for domestic purpose AC is least use.Hence,due to production error Gas became empty and if I now refilling the Gas with charges of Rs2200/- than after 6 or one year same situation will come again.How many time I will pay for that machine.
