Defective product and no proper action on the complaint raise

Complaint:
I bought Micromax A -89 from mobile store in New Delhi (Store no: 1624, Invoice No: 10653/8931285 and date of purchase: 27/04/2013)and gifted my dear ones who is using the set in Kolkata.
It was appearing that the battery backup was not providing more than 4 hours after full charged. After some days the battery backup drastically dropped and it come to that point that receiving or calling for half an hour the mobile needs to be recharged. The user requires putting it charged after each call and sometimes the call disconnected in between due to out of battery.
I contact with the mobile store from where I purchased the set and explain them the issue. They advise me to contact the nearby service centre to look out the issue and if require to change the battery.

The user went to the nearby Micromax service centre at Sulekha, Jadavpur, Kolkata and they returned the set doing nothing after keeping for couple of days.
The set is deposited at Rixxm Services, Anand Palit Road. Job Sheet no is E030545-0513-3799934 on May 21 as advised by customer care mail team from Micromax.
On 29th May almost one week after submitting the defective set to Micromax service centre we enquire to service centre about the status of set .Service centre answered it was sent to Head office for their action. After that I dropped a mail and in the very next day i.e. 30th May’13 user got the sms that the set was repaired and ready to handover.
User went on 31st May’13 to receive the repaired set. User found the zero charge on the battery during the handover from the service centre employee. User did not able to check whether the problem is resolved or not on the spot and enquired about the cause of the problem. The service centre employee refused to provide any explanation and asked the user to go back home and charged the battery and if problem persist then again come back.
I would like to inform that the set was mishandled and scratches were found too.
That is poor service offered by a company like Micromax and I am utmost dissatisfied with their service. More of that the user is a senior citizen and it is very difficult for him to visit frequently the centre. Apart from that it has a travel cost.
I was trying to contact you Micromax customer support # and Head office # and sharing my details and user details so they can contact and able to resolve issue but they not bother to connect. I request them to check battery backup and replace the same and if possible to change the set altogether. Micromax mail customer care team repetitive mails to me to visit service centre where the user who is a senior citizen already visited twice.
