Defective cake sold by open oven

I purchased a cake from open oven on 23rd of june 2012. The cake was defective in taste. I bought for my wife birthday and and it was great humiliation in front of my relatives.The people from open oven gave me the assurance that a fresh cake will be delivered shortly. It is monday and they are saying that we cannot deliver to your place.
I think its there resposibility to deliver the fresh cake to my home. Now they are denying to deliver.
Please look into the matter and oblige.
