Dead Services with NO solutions

Location/place: Gurgaon

Name of company/service: Vodafone

Dear Sir,

My vodafone services are dead since 07-05-2013 morning(i noticed it around 9:30 am when i tried to send an sms and it failed). I made a number of calls to vodafone customer care, they provide me some solutions like restart phone, try sim in another handset etc. I tried all but the problem is still as it was: neither i’m able to Send/Receive any sms nor Receiving any calls. When someone tries to make a call on my number the operator says “all services of this number are temporarily on hold”.
When i told this to vodafone customer care executive, they checked and replied me: “everything is fine at our end, all services are active.”
they provide me a single solution of replacing my sim card but that will take around 24-48 hours to deliver + 4 hours of activation of sim card.
Till then i’ll be completely disconnected to outside world.
Sir I’m a software/IT professional where my presence and connectivity matters a lot from my job perspective. I cant afford disconnecting for such a long duration. this can lead to my job termination in worst case.
One major problem in their single solution(sim replacement) is: i won’t be able to receive the courier delivery because i myself should be present home to receive it and it will remain undelivered. Then again i have to request for new sim card and again wait for 24-48 hours.
One alternate solution is to provide my id proof to house owner(i’m on rent) and then they can receive my new sim card, but the vodafone executive didn’t tell me this while registering my new sim card request.
this way the courier delivery(expected 08-05-2013) would not be successful and i’ll have to re-request for the sim card. that will again incur 24-48 hours time and i cannot afford so long disconnected time.
please help me sir…..
