I bought a Bosch dishwasher from bosch brand store in jayanagar, 4th block on the 16th of August. We got it installed on the 15th of September as my husband was out of the country and asked me not to entertain any Bosch employee as some Mohammed from the Jayanagar store had got my number, and was making calls and sending Whatsapp messages at weird hours in the night. After installation, again we couldn’t run the machine for a month, as the Finish salt was not available at M.K Ahmed. We got the salt 2 weeks back and started running the machine, and after 4 days we realised the left panel of the machine had warped on the outside. Moreover the vessels were coming out not properly washed, with soap bubbles and water. We lodged a complaint on their consumer complaint line on 26th November. The first technician came, and took a picture of the machine and asked me if I had hit the machine due to which it was destroyed. The matter then escalated to Mr.Karthik whose number is 43260313. He sent a senior technician, Mr. Gerald, who told me that the machine had been damaged in transit, but I’m sure the machine was perfect when the packing was opened. I sent him pictures on Whatsapp of the bubbles and wet vessels, and was told Mr.Karthik would look into the matter. This happened on 2nd December. Today I get a call from Mr. Karthik stating that it was my fault that I did not check the machine and since 3 and a half months are over from the date of purchase, they would not replace my machine but only change the panel. I paid ₹34,000 for the machine and when I called up Mohammed, now an ex-employee of Jayanagar branch, he told me that he had himself packed the machine and that it was a demo piece. If this is the service that Bosch gives, I even dread to think what service can we get from smaller companies. I paid ₹34,000 to get a damaged demo piece. Way to go, Bosch!
