I have imported 6 mobiles on 28th june 2017 by online shopping through Lightinthebox.com for my personal use.Custom Dept. at Ahmedabad hold my parcel of 3 mobiles for charging custom duty 10% and igst 28% and cess charges 3% And informed me to do this. This is first time for me andI just
afraid, what happened now about my material. I agreed to pay and paid Rs.19027/- . And after a week I got my parcel, which is opened and repacked. I am new and I cannot understand anything quickly. But this is too much expensive for me. I saw today carefully and thought that they charged igst 28% .I find igst charges on internet on www.cbec.gov.in and this is only 12% which is 16% more ( 28%-12% = 16% ). Then how can I get refund of my extra 16% this is going to be an amount of about or more than Rs.7000/- Please help me to do procedure for this.
