I have purchased a Lee-Cooper Shoe online from the site bagittoday.com owned by Indiatimes group & paid INR1149 from my credit card 2 months back.After 1 week i followed up @ their call centre & they said they will deliver the same in next 3 working days.
Next when i followed up again they said they don’t have the product in stock,so i requested for a refund.then they offered me some other brand which i refused to take & again requested for refund.the ID brand shoe they were offering me was available on their own website @ INR699 & i have paid 1149.This is the fraud they were doing i.e. forcing me to buy another brand that too of a lesser price & without any refund of my balance money. Now I have sent them several e-mails & many calls for which they are not reverting & are silent for the refund request.
The amount is not so big but the concern is that it is a fraud to hold customer’s hard earned money.I feel cheated & have lost faith in on-line shopping.I am not sure whether the forum will be able to help me with the case but will educate my friends & relatives to beware of on-line purchases.In case somebody can help me i can provide all the transaction & communication details to the forum.
