Connect broadband service Sector 35 Chandigarh, total harassment/fraud

I applied for a connect broadband connection at sector 35C, Chandigarh and completed all the formalities they asked to. They then promised me that the connection will be provided and activated in 2-4 days. Days passed and there was no action taken by them and I had to visit the connect office by taking leave from my work for an update as they never picked the call on the number they had provided.

On visiting the office, they then promised again that the connection will be given by the evening or day after but still no action. I again had to miss my work and visit the connect office. They then said that the person will come that day and will give the connection. Then finally the person came and informed me that the connection is not possible since the line is full.

I then again visited the connect office and they apologized for the delay and asked that they will send the engineer to put an new line to give the connection.

None of the engineer ever came and after 2-3 days again I visited the connect office and they then asked me to call some of their senior and he will help me. I called the senior person Iqbal, and he assured me that he will resolve the issue in 24 hours and the connection will be given to me for sure. 24 hours passed and still no action. Then again I called Iqbal, and he then said that it is not possible to give connection, so the money will be refunded in 45 days.
I am now feeling helpless, so I request to please help me in dealing with such harassing situation.

  1. Some times there are technical difficulties and errors, due to which there may be some delay in new installation of new broadband connection, Otherwise maximum of connections get installed within 48 hours.
